In 1923, a European theater company moved their presentation of "The God of Vengeance" to the U.S. where they were promptly arrested for indecency. This is their story, and it's still an important one nearly a century later. "The God of Vengeance" is the story of a Jewish family living above the brothel they own. How do you separate your faith from your work? Also, what happens with the hope that your daughter will be spared whatever wrath might come down on you when she falls in love with another woman, a worker at your brothel?
Faith, morality, love...and art.
You have to see this show.
We're a couple of weeks out from our Pay-What-You-want preview on the 7th. Tony and I are having our Date Night on the 8th (thanks for buying your tickets early!), so we hope to see you there.
